Warranty

Limited Warranty Coverage:

  • No refunds, returns or exchanges without an original invoice
  • 40% Restocking charge on all returned parts
  • No refunds on deposits
  • We are not responsible for labor
  • No returns on electrical parts
  • Glass and Carburetors are sold as is
  • Engines are warranted for 101 days from the date of sale against crank failure, cracked block, head(s), or rod bearing failure. Engine accessories are not guaranteed. Warranty is voided if other than normal wear and tear causes failure. Rear main seal must be replaced to honor warranty.
  • Automatic transmissions are warranted for 101 days against gear failure, cracks or improper operation. Warranty is voided if abused, improperly installed or lack of fluid. Front and rear seals must be replaced to honor warranty.
  • Standard transmissions are guaranteed at the time of purchase.
  • Gears are guaranteed at time of purchase. Gears are guaranteed to be in good condition, bearings are guaranteed to be without material noise at time of purchase.
  • Radiators and heater cores are guaranteed not to leak at the time of purchase.
  • Starters, alternators or other electrical items are guaranteed to work at the time of purchase. Warranty is voided by improper installation, faulty voltage regulator or poor electrical connections.
  • All other parts shall be sold as is at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated on the invoice.
  • Parts which are special ordered from outside sources will carry warranty of supplier. Chaz’s Used Auto Parts, Inc. cannot be held liable for such warranty.
  • Non-­defective or incorrectly ordered parts are not returnable.
  • Parts deemed defective will be replaced by Chaz’s Used Auto Parts, Inc. provided replacement part can be found. A credit will be issued if a replacement cannot be located.
  • Chaz’s Used Auto Parts, Inc. of its employees cannot be held liable for any damages, legal fees or costs incurred for installation, removal or failure of parts. The Customer is responsible for ordering the correct parts.
  • All warranties are from the date of purchase only.
  • Credits will be honored for one year from the date of issue.
  • No labor guarantee on parts sold by Chaz’s Used Auto Parts, Inc.
  • Buyer accepts these terms as final and binding at the time of purchase.

Coverage Exclusions:
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, misuse, improper installation, neglect, or any modifications to the part.
Parts used for racing or competition purposes are not covered under this warranty.
Normal wear and tear, as well as cosmetic damage, are not covered.

Warranty Claim Process:
In the event that you believe your purchased part is defective and falls within the warranty coverage, please contact our customer service team promptly.
Provide your original proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue.
Our team will assess the claim and may request additional information or documentation to validate the warranty claim.

Resolution Options:
If a defect is confirmed and falls within the warranty period, we will, at our discretion, either replace the defective part or provide a refund.
Shipping costs for warranty returns are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise specified.

Voiding of Warranty:
Any attempt to repair or modify the part without our explicit authorization will void the warranty. Failure to follow proper installation procedures, as outlined in the product documentation, may void the warranty.

Disclaimer:
Our liability is limited to the replacement or refund of the defective part as outlined in these warranty terms. We are not responsible for any consequential or incidental damages.
